The Community Oriented Primary Care Clinics are a network of low cost or free health centers that are located throughout Harris County. Each clinic in the region provides primary health care for patients all ages, including treatment of acute and chronic problems, nutritional counseling, dental concerns, health maintenance exams, prescriptions, geriatric assessments, psycho social services, health education and referrals for specialty care and local hospitals. In addition, note that laboratory, free pharmacy and radiology services are also available to qualified individuals, providing a full range of health services and medical care. Qualified patients are encouraged to establish a relationship with a local doctor or health care provider to ensure continuity of their care over the long term.
